Our Services

AI that shows up on your income statement.

Four services. Each one designed to move your business from "we should do something with AI" to measurable, finance-tracked results.

01 — Diagnose

AI Readiness Assessment

2-week diagnostic

A focused audit of your operations, data infrastructure, and financials to identify exactly where AI creates the most value for your business. Not a generic checklist — a specific, prioritised roadmap tied to your revenue goals.

What We Do

  • Audit current operations, workflows, and data infrastructure
  • Interview key stakeholders across departments
  • Map processes against AI automation potential
  • Analyse financial impact: cost savings, revenue uplift, efficiency gains
  • Benchmark against industry peers and best practice

Who It's For

UK mid-market companies (£5M–£100M revenue) who know AI matters but haven't found the right starting point. Typically COOs, CFOs, or CEOs who want clarity before committing budget.

Expected Outcomes

Prioritised roadmap Ranked list of AI opportunities by ROI potential and implementation complexity
Business cases Financial projections your CFO can actually approve
Gap analysis What you need in data, skills, and infrastructure before you start
Quick wins 2–3 things you can implement immediately with minimal risk
02 — Design

AI Strategy & Roadmap

4–6 week engagement

A phased implementation plan with clear ROI targets, timelines, and risk mitigation. Every recommendation comes with a business case your board can approve and your team can execute.

What We Do

  • Define AI vision aligned to your 3–5 year business strategy
  • Design phased implementation with dependencies mapped
  • Build ROI models for each initiative with sensitivity analysis
  • Create vendor evaluation criteria and shortlists
  • Develop change management and adoption plan
  • Produce board-ready investment proposal

Who It's For

Companies that have identified AI opportunities (often through our assessment) and need a concrete, financeable plan to move forward. Ideal when you need board or investor buy-in before committing resources.

Expected Outcomes

90-day action plan Immediate next steps with owners, deadlines, and success metrics
Investment framework Total cost of ownership, expected returns, and payback periods
Vendor shortlist Evaluated options for tools, platforms, and implementation partners
Risk register Identified risks with mitigation strategies and contingency plans
03 — Deploy

AI Implementation Support

Ongoing advisory

Hands-on support through vendor selection, tool integration, and team enablement. We stay until the AI is working and your team can run it independently. Monthly reviews against your financial KPIs.

What We Do

  • Manage vendor selection and contract negotiation
  • Oversee technical integration and data pipeline setup
  • Run pilot programmes with defined success criteria
  • Track financial KPIs: cost per unit, margin impact, time saved
  • Monthly executive reviews with course corrections
  • Knowledge transfer to your internal team

Who It's For

Companies actively implementing AI who need an experienced hand to keep things on track. Typically a fractional AI advisor role — enough to drive results without the cost of a full-time hire.

Expected Outcomes

Measurable ROI Clear financial metrics showing AI impact on your bottom line
Team autonomy Internal capability to manage and evolve AI systems independently
Reduced risk Avoided common pitfalls that derail 30% of AI projects post-PoC
Scalable foundation Architecture and processes ready for the next phase of AI adoption
04 — Upskill

AI Training & Upskilling

1–5 day workshops

Hands-on workshops tailored to your industry, your tools, and your team's current skill level. From executive AI literacy to technical team deep-dives. Everyone leaves knowing exactly how to use AI in their role.

What We Do

  • Executive AI literacy: what it can and can't do, where to invest
  • Department-specific workshops: finance, operations, marketing, sales
  • Hands-on tool training with your actual data and workflows
  • Prompt engineering and AI best practices for knowledge workers
  • AI governance, ethics, and responsible use frameworks

Who It's For

Leadership teams who need to understand AI at a strategic level, and operational teams who need to use it day-to-day. Works as a standalone or alongside our other services.

Expected Outcomes

AI-literate leadership Executives who can evaluate AI investments and ask the right questions
Productive teams Staff using AI tools effectively within weeks, not months
Internal champions Identified AI advocates in each department to drive adoption
Governance framework Clear policies for responsible AI use across the organisation
Why Inflect

Finance background.
Operator mindset.

Finance & Retail

Years managing finances across multi-channel retail, wholesale partnerships, and e-commerce — understanding both the numbers and the operations they represent.

Mid-Market Focus

Built specifically for UK companies doing £5M–£100M. Big enough to benefit from AI, lean enough that every pound of investment has to count.

Results-First Approach

Every recommendation ties back to your P&L. If it doesn't improve margins, reduce costs, or drive revenue, it doesn't make the roadmap.

Simon — Founder, Inflect Advisory

Most AI consultancies are built by technologists. Inflect was built by someone who's sat in the finance chair, stared at the P&L, and asked "where's the return?"

Simon's career spans financial management in multi-channel retail and wholesale, where he's seen first-hand how operational complexity eats into margins. He's managed everything from channel profitability analysis to cash flow forecasting across businesses doing £5M to £100M in revenue.

That finance-first perspective is what makes Inflect different. When we recommend an AI initiative, it comes with a business case built the way a CFO thinks — payback periods, sensitivity analysis, and measurable KPIs. Not a slide deck about "the art of the possible."

The AI market is noisy. Inflect exists to cut through it with clarity, honesty, and a relentless focus on what actually moves the numbers.

Not sure which service you need?

Most companies start with a discovery call. In 30 minutes, we'll understand your situation and recommend the right starting point — or tell you honestly if we're not the right fit.

Common questions

How much does an engagement cost?

It depends on the scope. An AI Readiness Assessment starts at £5,000 for a 2-week engagement. Strategy work is typically £10,000–£25,000. Implementation support is priced monthly. We'll give you a clear quote after the discovery call — no surprise fees.

Do you work with companies outside the UK?

Our primary focus is UK mid-market businesses. That said, if you're a UK-based company with international operations, that's absolutely within scope. For companies based outside the UK, let's have a conversation first.

What if we've already started our AI journey?

Many of our clients come to us mid-implementation — usually because something isn't working or they've hit a wall. Our Implementation Support service is designed exactly for this. We'll assess where you are, identify what's not working, and get things back on track.

Do you build the AI solutions yourself?

We're advisors, not developers. We help you select the right vendors, manage the implementation, and ensure it delivers financial results. Think of us as your fractional AI director — we ensure the right things get built, by the right people, for the right reasons.

How is Inflect different from the big consultancies?

Three ways: we're faster (weeks, not quarters), we're focused (mid-market only, not trying to serve everyone), and we're finance-led (every recommendation ties to your P&L). You get senior attention from day one, not a team of juniors running a playbook.
